’Good afternoon.’
’So I have just said that you have got a very interesting job. Would you share it with us?’
’Yes, I am a History teacher.’
’Why did you choose this career?’
’At school my favourite subject was History. I was interested in it then and now also.’
’And which subject didn’t you like?’
’Well, perhaps Physical Education.’
’Why?’
’I was rather inept.’
’I see. How long have you been teaching?’
’More than 20 years now.’
’And what about your students? Do you think they like History?’
’I do not know. I try to make the lessons more interesting by telling more and more facts. I bring photos and sometimes some funny stories.’
’It sure sounds very nice. And what do you do in your free time?’
’I haven’t got much free time, but when I do, I go to a museum, visit an old historical place or watch a film about another country’s culture.’
’Do you go to these places with your students?’
’Not really, only with my class. We go on a historical trip every year.’

As I read your show, one strange question ocured to me. - If someone teaches history and most of the person's free time is spent with history or culture, does that person really have free time, or is it just history?
Although we do not have the interviewee with us, we can say it is very fortunate if somebody likes the subject he/she teaches as a hobby. By the way, although culture and history may have some things in common, they are not quite the same.
Anyway, it would be nice to do a support interview and ask Mr Baranyai. Anyone who volunteers? ;)
